What Is RODI Water?
RODI (Reverse Osmosis Deionized) water is ultra-pure water produced by removing chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, silicates, phosphates, nitrates, and dissolved solids from tap water. In aquarium systems especially reef aquariums and high-end planted tanks water purity is the foundation of long-term success. Every parameter starts with the water itself.
At JJ Aquariums, we do not use tap water, bottled water, or untreated RO. Every system we install or maintain begins with laboratory-grade RODI water.
